Ravenscourt Park Pre-School is a not-for-profit, affordable nursery based in the beautiful Ravenscourt Park and which is open during term times.
We re-opened in 2018 under new, parent-led management (see committee below). We are the only parent-led, charity pre-school in the area, and will be open for morning, afternoon and all day sessions between 9.00 and 3.30 in term times. To enquire about places for your child, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The 2019-20 committee consists of:
The committee is responsible for the running of the school including budgeting, fund-raising, staff employment, policy-making and curriculum. It meets every half term and holds an AGM at the beginning of Autumn term where new members are elected.

How to get involved
Ravenscourt Park Pre-School can only exist with the help, support and expertise of parents and the community. We strongly encourage parents to join our committee and take part in the running of the school. If you would like to join our committee, please email RPPScommittee@gmail.com
However, we also need you if you're a gardener, cook, DIYer, artist, reader, musician, sportsperson, linguist (or, most importantly enthusiastic and willing to help!).
Ways to get involved include;
Helping run fund-raising events
Regular or one-off sessions at the school - for example, reading, music/singing sessions, cookery sessions, sports lessons, and much more
Helping to maintain our building or garden
Contributing financially towards to running of the school or towards specific outings or equipment
Taking part in outings
As well as parent and community involvement, our ethos is based on nature and nurture. We create a friendly, nuturing environment where children enjoy a 'home from home' and learn through play and exploration. We believe that children learn and develop best when they feel confident, secure, safe and listened to.
In our beautiful location within a park, the nature all around us is a huge source of learning, enjoyment, and exploration. The children love spending time in our large outdoor playground; taking part in 'school trips' to feed the ducks or to the nearby garden centre; and gardening in our learning garden, where they grow seeds into plants to take home, watch and learn about the butterflies and bees, and grow herbs and vegetables.
