Ravenscourt Park Pre-School

Ravenscourt Park Pre-School is a warm and nurturing nursery for 2 to 5 year olds in the heart of leafy Ravenscourt Park.

All change!

We've had a busy few weeks here at Ravenscourt Pre-School. When we work towards our exciting re-opening, we're giving our much-loved building some very well-deserved TLC.

AS a small charity, we've been lucky enough to have had the help of some wonderful volunteers from Marks & Spencer, who have given up their time to come and help us refresh the interior of our building.

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to local decorating firm D & D Handyman, and Brewers, for kindly donating our paint and decorating tools. Without support like this from our community, we wouldn't be able to put our plans into action, so we're extremely grateful.

Very soon we'll be giving the same effort to the outside of our building too, and we're so excited to make our school look the happy and cheery place we know it to be.

We've also got grand plans for the garden - if you have ideas or want to help in any way, then do drop us a line at ravenscourtparkpreschool@gmail.com

Stay and Play!

We are very excited to let you now that while our pre-school is temporarily closed, we will be holding stay and play groups for parents and their children.

These sessions will be a fabulous opportunity to see the school, hear more about our plans, see the progress as our school gets its makeover, give us your suggestions and ideas, or just relax with a cuppa for a couple of hours!

These sessions will be 10-12 every Thursday in term time. More days may be added if there is demand.

Toys, our fantastic outside space, books, art & crafts etc will all be on offer for your little ones.

Please do tell your friends and come along!

An update

Ravenscourt Park Pre-School is temporarily closed while we undergo an amazing makeover.

It has been the plan since July 2017 that our pre-school will transfer from being run by the Pre-School Learning Alliance (the PSLA) to being parent-run, and this will be taking effect very soon!

We originally hoped to make this transition a seamless one, with no period of closure. However the PSLA sadly wanted to close the school before the committee had the right to step in. (This is mainly a result of waiting for the go-ahead from Ofsted).

However, the silver lining is that the next few weeks will be spent on making sure our school looks fantastic and is best placed to make the children's early-years education as brilliant as they are.

All our work and updates on this process will be updated here, so do check back regularly.
